Thank you for all of your wonderful prayers and support! God was so faithful to give us strength, wisdom, perseverance, and love as we served Him in Peru. His grace was sufficient for every high and low of the trip and we are all so thankful for this opportunity to be Jesus’ hands and feet in Peru.

We look forward to sharing more about our trip at 6pm on March 27th at Calvary in the Ozarks.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Dinner FundRaiser! What a great time We especially enjoyed sharing our prayer requests with you all and praying together. God has given us such amazing prayer support and we can’t wait to see all of the prayers God answers in the next 4 months. Thank you for partnering with us!

Please continue to pray for us to have wisdom as we finish up our Vacation Bible School lessons, direction as we begin to purchase our VBS supplies, and perserverance as we raise the rest of our funds.

You are all a part of the Lord’s harvest in Peru~Thank you for praying for us!

Ministry Plans

We are preparing for a 5-day Vacation Bible School in Santa Rosa de Villa. This small neighborhood on the outskirts of Lima is home to approximately 250 families. The houses are very small in this area-many are only one room, and no one has plumbing. They keep water in large barrels outside of their homes to use for cleaning, bathing, and cooking. Many children in this area raise themselves while their moms travel into the city to work as live-in maids for days at a time. There are children in Santa Rosa who are not even able to attend school because, just like in the United States, it is not completely free.

There are also many temptations for the children who live in Santa Rosa. They have a lot of time on their hands and not much supervision. The church in Santa Rosa provides many opportunities for these children to be “kids” in a safe environment. Iglesia Cristiana Koinonia has conducted programs for children, teens, and adults in this area for the past nine years, and they are praying that they will be able to send a team to live there sometime in the future.

On our trip, we’re going to use puppets, clowns, and skits to teach the Bible to the children. We’ll have face painting, balloon animals, crafts, games, and snacks for about 200 children each day. Hosting a VBS in Santa Rosa means a lot more to these children than just providing a week of fun for them. It’s a chance to encourage them to follow the right path in life~the path that brings satisfaction and joy in the midst of very bad circumstances. It’s a chance to let them know that they are loved by God and to bring lasting hope to their lives!

Pray for our team as we prepare our Bible lessons, crafts, and games. Most importantly, pray for the children who will attend the VBS to have open hearts as we share about the hope we have in Jesus! We also plan to minister to a group of teens each night we’re there. Pray that we’ll bring encouragement to them and that God will give them a desire to follow His ways.

Preparation Has Begun!

We are excited to announce that we have begun preparation for our Mission Trip!
Our team is great~ We can really see God’s hand in putting us together.

Pray for our fundraisers! A few of us have held some small ones and we are praying about having a large one~ We need wisdom as we plan these events. Thank you for being part of this team. Remember…God loves to answer your prayers :)
